The adventures of one fortunate woman, who is able to pursue her two primary passions, art and nature. The landscape might be the arid desert of New Mexico, my home state, or somewhere far afield. The activity might be the teaching of design to a group of art quilters, or the study of birds. I can't imagine doing anything resembling a 'normal' job. My life is my quilts, my birds, and the love of the outdoors.

QBL - Accommodations
QBL is held at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, where the dorms are brand new and the rooms are arranged in suites. No traipsing down the hall to the communal bathroom. My Suite-mate was one of my favorite teachers, Libby Lehman. We had not been at a venue together for a long time -- so many words, so little time. Libby has special travel accessories, like this Baby Bird blow dryer, so small it would fit into a nest.
